Effect of Position and Syllable Structure on Vowel Duration in Madurese
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Reference
  • Full Article
In this study, the temporal pattern of vowels under various syllable types, word positions and neighboring syllables are analyzed. It is found that, under the effect of final lengthening, the vowel of the second syllable is longer than the first syllable. It is also found that when the structure of the neighboring syllable is CV, the vowel of the second syllable is the longest, while that of the first is the shortest. This is due to the mechanism that, the first syllable tends to be unstressed, while the second syllable tends to be stressed. Results show that when there are two or more than two consonant segments in the second syllable, the vowel of the first syllable tends to be very short, which is due to the compensation effect.

Barium (Ba2+) doped in A-site and Zirconium (Zr4+) doped in B-site of NBT, (Bi0.5Na0.5)0.92Ba0.08Zr0.04Ti0.96O3 polycrystalline material was prepared by Solid State Reaction method. Frequency dependence of dielectric constant and Electric Modulus were discussed at various temperatures in frequency range (101-106Hz). A relaxation phenomena was observed in the material. The present dielectric material obeys Jonsher's law. The coefficient's of Jonsher's law A(T) and n(T) was interpreted by curve fitting method. Electrical Modulus reveals a long-range mobility of charge carriers at high frequencies at various temperatures.

Application and Optimization of Control Implemented In Irrigation Systems Based On Microclimate Models of Tropical Crops
  • Abstract

  • Full Article
It presents a simulation study oriented to the control of irrigation systems, whose main objective was to evaluate the performance in terms of stability of controllers based on the fuzzy logic and PID, which have as a characteristic the emulation of human knowledge and traditional use in industrial applications respectively. Both control systems interacted with the different models and sub-models related to the microclimate of plants, so that their fundamental purpose was to maintain soil moisture and the water requirements of the crop. As a control strategy, it was defined as an input signal the difference between the humidity level supported by the existing soil type and the actual humidity level measured in each instant of time through electronic sensors..............

  • Abstract

Drying is by far the most widely used treatment, which needs to be performed very carefully and preciously so as to preserve the aroma and color of the leaves. Drying treatment and experimental method hot air tray drying was carried out at the temperatures of 45°C, 55°C and 65°C to find and suggest the optimum drying condition for acquiring quality dried basil leaves and active ingradientl like uginol , caryophyll of basil leaves..Results have revealed that 'total drying time' is considerably reduced with the increase in drying air temperatures from 45°C to 65°C. It could be recommended that for the best drying temperature is 45°C of basil leaves to retain the various active ingradient.

Alzheimer's Disease(AD) has been proved as a deadly disease with most of the population being affected by it, especially old-aged people. As a result, the diagnosing field is in dire need of a computer-aided diagnosis model that can predict and classify patients accurately. For a better diagnosing model, the medical input must provide clear information to the model. This paper aim at pre-processing of the inputs, thereby reducing the dimensionality, differentiating parts of the brain and tuning them to contribute to the improvement in accuracy for the classification model.

In this paper a new method for Full Reference Image Quality Assessment is presented. In current work the edge of the image is analyzed and the best scenario about the color is found. In first step the RGB, HSI and YCbCr color aretested. For each color the wavelet transform is applied and the edge of the images are extracted. With edge intensity specification the image quality assessment is tested. As result shown in this paper the PSNR, SROCC and Pearson is calculated.

An inventory model with different deterioration rates under inflation and permissible delay in payments for two level storage is developed. Demand is considered as function of price and time. Holding cost is time dependent. Shortages are allowed and completely backlogged. Numerical case is given to represent the model. Affectability investigation is likewise done for parameters.

Quality management is most important consideration in any infrastructure construction project. The paper constitutes about the quality management practices of infrastructure construction projects. Indian government declares schemes and policies for growth in quality of construction work. The main aim of this research is to achieve high quality of construction work and give most advantageous quality of infrastructure to society and also encounter the requirements of all the interested parties of the infrastructure projects. Little research work was done and studied for finding applied problems of quality management in a practical and current situation of an infrastructure project. Analysis and conclusions from a questionnaire survey and data analysis were done from the quality audits, problems pertaining to contractor‟s quality management in projects of the infrastructure.

This study describes a possibility of a development of the heat transfer enhancement technique on heating components such as electrical devices mounted in electronic enclosure by applying the pulsating airflow through 3D-CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis. We especially investigated the effects of the dimensions of the heating prism mounted in the enclosure on the heat transfer performance of the pulsating airflow. It was found that the level of the heat transfer enhancement was dependent on the dimensions of the heating object. Information about doing the optimization of the condition of the flow pulsation for increasing the level of the heat transfer enhancement by the pulsating airflow.

A Neighbourhood Technique To Detect Anomlay in VANET Using History-Based Opportunistic Path Selection
  • Abstract

  • Full Article
Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANET) facilitates road-side communication through moving vehicles assisted by thefixed base station and access points. Roadside communication enables mobile information sharing over remote places and enables Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). Network traffic in these systems increases delay, improper information dissemination besides additional re-routing process. The major re-routing process is caused due to the anomaly present in the network that is inadvertent at the time of neighbor selection. This manuscript proposes a precise neighbor selection based on communication intensity and distance behavior for detecting and mitigating the influence of the adversaries. Anomaly mitigation aids to improve network performance.Hence a comparative study is made to analyse statistical based and neighbourhood technique. The results are analysed which gives further improvement in detecting anamoly.

An Hybrid Approach of LBP and Hu Moment Invariant Features For Fish Species Classification
  • Abstract

Computer vision is an advanced inspection innovation that has been applied in different fields. However, it isn't as generally utilized as a part of aquaculture. It is very challenging in underwater video to identify the fish species; the inspected fishes are sensitive, easily stressed and permitted to move in environment in which lighting, perceivability are the most part is not controllable. The proposed framework is to classify the fish species from videos captured by underwater cameras. First, extracted the foreground fish by background subtraction Model. Then, a Local Binary Pattern (LBP) technique used to get the texture of a fish. Then, for the fish texture, applied the method of Moment-Invariants (MI) coupled with geometrical concern and used to be accordingly invariant to scale of a fish, two dimensional fish orientation and location in the view of camera...............
