Ergonomic Assessment of Physical Health Status of Workers Involved in Construction
The construction industry in India is an integral part of the nation and can be identified as one of the
rapidly growing sector which gives employment to maximum of the workers after agriculture. Construction
workers are the backbone of the Indian economy as they create the infrastructure necessary for industrial
growth. Construction work provides employment and growth of other parallel industries such as cement,
paint, wood, electrical work, hardware etc. It is basically a labour intensive industry which provides
livelihood to many people in India. Increasing number of population living in urban areas and towns have
taken up construction work as a means of immediate employment beside rural population as it assures for at
least day to day sustenance of their family life.

Evaluation of strength and road performance of drainage stabilized macadam base prepared from polyurethane glue and cement stabilized macadam milling
In order to provide practical reference for the practical application of Permeable polyurethane
stabilized recycled gravel aggregate (PPSRA), which is made of polyurethane glue and cement stabilized gravel
milled material, its strength and road use. The effects of performance were studied. Firstly, the unconfined
compressive test and the flexural test were used to analyze the effect of porosity, glue dosage and glue
component ratio on its strength. Then, the water stability and water permeability of PPSRA were tested by water
immersion Marshall test and permeability test. The road is evaluated by performance. The results show that the
strength increases with the increase of the amount of glue; when the distribution ratio of A and B is 1:2.5, the
strength of PPSRA peaks, and the strength of PPSRA increases with the increase of porosity. The compressive
modulus of PPSRA is 800-1300 MPa, the residual stability is 85%-90%, and the permeability coefficient is
0.8-1.0 cm˙s-1.

Morphology and Static Micro-indentation of melt-spun Al-Si-Fe- X (X= Nb, B) alloys by the addition of Ni
The effect of 6 wt.% Ni addition on the morphology and static micro-hardness of Al-20Si-9Fe-
1.2Nb and Al-20Si-9Fe-1.2B (at wt. %) alloy ribbons was investigated in the present study. Alloys with
mentioned nominal compositions were prepared by conventional casting and further processed melt-spinning
technique. The resulting ribbons of studied alloys were characterized using scanning electron microscopy
(SEM) together linked with energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) in order to analyse the morphology and
chemical composition of samples, while the hardness was synthesized utilizing Vickers microhardness test
device. Results exhibited that with Ni addition Si solubility in α-Al matrix was increased in both studied meltspun
Al-alloys. Furthermore , the mechanical properties of both investigated melt-spun alloys has been
improved by 6 wt. % Ni addition.

Visualization of Large Dataset Using Approximate Commute Time Embedding
This paper presents visualization of the data set lying in a higher dimensional space using
commute time embedding. However, commute time embedding involves computing spectral decomposition of the
graph Laplacian matrix, which requires computational burden proportional to O(n³), which might not be suitable
for large scale dataset. Recently, many methods have been proposed to reduce the computational burden. These
methods, which usually involves sampling the affinity matrix of the graph, might be suffered from the distortion
induced by computing spectral decomposition of the normalized graph Laplacian from the sampled affinity matrix.
This paper proposes how to reduce the distortion by preserving the properties the normalized graph Laplacian
matrix should be symmetric and positive semidefinite even after its approximation by sampling process. The
performance of the proposed algorithm is analyzed by checking the embedding results on a patch graph in both
geometric and topological ways.

Assessment of Surface Friction Characteristics for Egyptian Highways
Frictional properties of road surface play a major role in road safety; as the friction between tire
and pavement is considered an essential contributing factor in reducing potential crashes. Due to the increase
in the percentage of traffic accident rates in Egypt; the assessment of friction values of the surface layer became
one of the main problems which needed to be studied. This paper presents the evaluation of pavement friction
values for major types of Egyptian roads; desert, agriculture, and urban roads. In this study, tested roads have
been evaluated by a portable skid resistance mechanism using a British Pendulum (B.P.) tester according to the
American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM E303-93)............

Combinatorial Optimization and Multistage Decision making Problem Model and solution for Port to Port Transportation schedule
In applied mathematics literature "Combinatorial Optimization" is a topic consists of finding an
optimal object from a finite set of objects. VRP meaning vehicle routing problem combined with TSP or
travelling salesman problem and MSP minimum spanning tree problems are some of the examples of
Combinatorial Optimization topics. This topic further complicates while route and junctions are assigned with
certain constraints.
The paper also contain an example concerning Petroleum refinery port to port transaction schedule based on
the multistage decision making process. The refinery operations Resource solutions are allocating with the
proper vessel fleet shuttles from crude petroleum exploring and uploading port to refinery locality port within
definite routes periodically, in time inventory schedules...........

Seismic Response of Existing Reinforced Cement Concrete Structure after Addition of Cross Bracings
Structures in high seismic risk areas may be susceptible to severe damage in a major earthquake.
For the variety of structures and possible deficiencies that arise, several retrofitting techniques can be
considered. Bracing system is one of the retrofitting techniques and it provides an excellent approach for
strengthening and stiffening existing building for lateral forces. Also, another potential advantage of this system
is the comparatively small increase in mass associated with the retrofitting scheme since this is a great problem
for several retrofitting techniques. Our ability to build seismically safe structures with adequate seismic
resistance has increased significantly in the past few decades. Manyreinforced concrete frame structures built in
seismically active areas are expected to perform inadequately in a seismic event............

Mount Cameroon oil seeps and their rheological properties
The geology of the Gulf of Guinea, at the southeastern foot of Mount Cameroon presents a transition from a sedimentary terrain to a volcanic terrain marked by the presence of anactive Cameroon Mountain. The presence of seeps at the foot of this Mountain could serves as an indication for more onshore exploration in the area. Samples from these seeps were collected for rheological studies at temperatures ranging from 20.4oC to 60.1oC using a Brookfield DV-II Pro viscometer. Such studies were necessary to investigate the change in rheological properties of seeps after long exposure to the surface. The measurements provided for the percentage torque at given speeds, shear stress and the apparent viscosity data at various shear rates and at different temperatures.............

Video Concept Detection Using Convolutional Neural Network
The performance of the video concept detection method depends on, the selection of the low-level
visual features used to represent key-frames of a shot and CNN based Model. Video Concept detection is the
task of assigning an input video one or multiple labels indicating the presence of one or multiple concepts in the
video sequence. In this paper we have implemented video concept detection using a deep CNN and the low level
visual features modeled using GMM supervectors. In the experiment, CNN achieves better classification
accuracy on TRECVID dataset due to the capability of feature and classifier learning.

A Comparative Study of Dimension-Reduction Based on Data Distribution
We propose the notions of explanation-radius and the local-comparability based on thedata
distribution. The former measures the injective degree and the latter depicts the difference between the original
data and the reduction data. Thereafter, through the experiments, the linear and nonlinear dimension-reduction
are analyzed, included PCA (Principal Component Analysis), PP (Projection Pursuit) and LLE (Locally Linear
Embedding), Laplacion Eigenmap. The experiments show the effectiveness and advantages of the researches.
