Hilbert transform and Ann-based power transmission line faults identification and classification
The transmission lines are important links in the power system. it carries a large amount of power from a remote distance sending the end to the distribution substation. During this, there are chances of various faults on it. So, early-stage fault identification is essential for a reliable power transfer. this paper implements a high-impedance fault identification technique based on the Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT). The signals of various fault conditions such as LL, LG, and LLL are captured and fourteen statistical parameters are calculated, from these signal features extracted using HT are given as input to ANN for the determination of fault type. The highest result of 96.3 per cent was obtained after changing the training and testing data, various Epochs, and percentage validations. The proposed HHT-based fault detection technique is confirmed on MATLAB Simulink.

Redesigning Campus Cafeteria Shade, Circulation, And Furniture Settings For Improved User Experience And Efficiency
The cafeteria serves as a common area where individuals affiliated with the university, such as students, lecturers, guests, and staff, typically engage in activities such as dining, drinking, and resting either individually or in groups. In the case of the Department of Architecture at Diponegoro University, changes in campus regulations led to the relocation of the cafeteria, resulting in various challenges related to user circulation and impacting the overall efficiency of the space. To address these issues, a research initiative was undertaken to examine user behavior patterns with respect to the arrangement of furniture in the cafeteria. This study represents a post-occupancy evaluation aimed at generating......

A Review on Quantification of Plastic Waste Generation and Disposal in India
Earth observed the first Plastic overshoot day on 28th July 2023 when the total amount of plastic waste on the earth exceeded the global plastic waste handling capacity. India ranks fifth in the world in plastic waste generation. As per a recent report by Earth Action, with 98.55% of waste being mismanaged, India is placed at fourth position in the mismanaged waste index (MWI). This is a cause of grave concern as the large population size, lack of awareness, unavailability of adequate waste handling infrastructure coupled with non-biodegradable nature of plastic products and harmful effects of improper waste handling poses long term risks to human life as well as other species in the environment. In this context, to understand the plastic waste management scenario in India, this review paper aims to present the trends on plastic consumption, the plastic waste generation and disposal practices and statistics in India.

Enhancing Land Security through Technology: A Strategic Approach for Anambra State, Nigeria
This paper explores the transformative potential of integrating technology into land management processes to enhance land security and customer tenure practices in Anambra State, Nigeria. Anambra, like many regions in the country, grapples with challenges such as outdated land registries, unclear land titles, and informal land transactions. Recognizing the need for a progressive approach, this paper proposes the adoption of digital solutions, including the digitization of land records, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), blockchain technology, online transaction platforms, and mobile applications for information access. Drawing on extensive research, the paper emphasizes the potential benefits of these technological interventions in providing transparency, accuracy, and efficiency in land administration.........

Results Of Field Tests Of Foundations In Rammed Doun
The essence of the foundation method in rammed doun is that the pits for individual foundations are not torn off, but the pit is rammed to the calculated depth, followed by embedding with concrete. To increase the bearing capacity of the foundation soil, hard or local soil material is compacted in portions into the bottom of the compacted pit to form a widened part. The load from the foundations along the base and side walls is transferred first to the compacted soil, and then to the soils of natural composition, due to which a higher bearing capacity of the foundations is achieved. This article examines the results of field studies to determine the dependence of the load-bearing capacity on the size and volume of the widened part.

Properties of Sustainable Concrete Using Volcanic Pumice Powder: A Review
Environmental degradation is increasing due to pollution caused by the depletion of raw materials and increased demand for concrete products. That's why scientists and researchers are working to create a sustainable, environmentally friendly stone using recycled materials. Among these materials, volcanic ash (VA) and other natural pozzolans (NP) have emerged as promising complementary cementitious materials (SCM). VA and NP types play an important role in reducing the costs, energy consumption and environment associated with cement production. Therefore, it is necessary to study the properties of VA and NP and their influence on the properties of concrete and cement mortar.........

Mechanical Properties Of Pre-Wet Soils Compacted With A Heavy Rammer
In the case when the value of the calculated settlement according to the II limit state of subsidence and loose soils exceeds the maximum permissible value or the bearing capacity of the foundation soil is insufficient, one of the main methods for improving the calculated values of the soil is the compaction method with heavy compaction. The method of compacting loose soil with heavy tamping has been used for a long time; over time, equipment, methods of structural calculations and technology have developed, and it has become possible to compact soils up to 12.0 m thick and using tampers weighing up to 100...200 tons. The essence of this method is to increase the mechanical properties of the soil by transferring the energy of dynamic action to the internal structure of subsidence soils with low bearing capacity. This article discusses the results of compaction of pre-moistened loess-like sandy loam soil, common in the city of Darkhan, Mongolia.

Detection of the Flying Bees Using Morphological Image Processing
By scattering pollen to flowers, bees allow plants and trees to bear fruit and disperse their seeds. This important task of bees in life continues the oxygen cycle, which is vital for humans. To put it briefly, a large part of life on earth depends on bees doing their job. In last years, there has been an annual decrease in the number of bee colonies. For this reason, it is of great importance to keep the bee population under control and to prevent its decline. In this study, the coordinates of a bee swarm in the sky were detected using morphological image processing methods. In this research, two main morphological image processing methods, erosion and dilation, were used. Morphological image processing algorithms were developed using the MATLAB program.......
