| Study on Charged Particle Distribution According to Dielectric Thickness Variation in a DBD Cell Using 2D Simulation | ||||||
Various studies are underway to improve the characteristics of Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) cells. Given that the internal dielectric layer plays a pivotal role in DBD cells, continued analytical research on this component is essential. This paper investigates the distribution characteristics of charged particles in relation to variations in dielectric thickness using two-dimensional simulations. First, the luminance and luminous efficacy corresponding to different dielectric thicknesses are calculated; subsequently, the extent of charged particle diffusion is analyzed to identify the underlying causes. While increasing the dielectric thickness reduces both luminance and power consumption, it leads to a broader distribution of charged particles, which can enhance the luminous efficacy of the DBD cell.

| An Overview of ECG Arrhythmia Classification Methods | ||||||
An Electrocardiogram (ECG) is a key detection method employed to examine the electrical activity of heart and to detect cardiac abnormalities and arrhythmias. As the number of patients with cardiac disorders continues to rise, automated ECG analysis and classification methods have been designed to help medical professionals analyze ECG recordings. ECG analysis typically involves several phases, such as signal preprocessing, extraction of relevant features, and classification. Preprocessing is a crucial step, since ECG recordings may include various kinds of noise that can influence the analysis that follows..........

| Dynamic Simulation of Induction Motor Under Variable Load Condition and Fault Conditions | ||||||
The purpose of this study is to investigate the dynamic performance, fault detection, and adaptive control of induction motors using Bellman's dynamic programming method. Induction motors are critical in industrial operations, but their reliability is often undermined by issues such as overheating, bearing wear, and sudden load variations. Traditional control and detection methods rely heavily on static thresholds, which can be ineffective in handling transient disturbances and evolving fault conditions, leading to false alarms and inefficient operation. To address these challenges, this work applies dynamic programming optimization to enhance control strategies and improve fault sensitivity in real-time applications.......

| Adaptive Control Strategies and MRAC-Based Battery Management Systems | ||||||
The increasing dependence on inverter-based power systems in regions with unstable grids has intensified the challenge of battery degradation, which reduces system reliability, increases operational costs, and shortens battery lifespan. This study proposes an Adaptive Load Management framework based on Model Reference Adaptive Control (MRAC) to enhance battery performance, optimize energy utilization, and minimize long-term system cost. The primary objective is to reduce deep discharge cycles, improve charge–discharge efficiency, and extend battery lifespan while ensuring stable load supply under variable demand conditions. The methodology integrates MRAC-based battery control, AI-driven load forecasting.........

| Screen Time and Child Development: An Ayurvedic Perspective | ||||||
Introduction: The rapid expansion of smartphones, tablets, computers, television and other digital media has resulted in increasing screen exposure among children. Although digital technology has educational and recreational benefits, excessive and prolonged screen use may interfere with sleep, physical activity, attention, behaviour, emotional regulation and social interaction. Ayurveda describes childhood as an important period of physical, mental and sensory development and emphasizes balanced sensory engagement, appropriate daily routine, adequate sleep, wholesome nutrition, physical activity and healthy conduct. The present review explores excessive screen exposure from an Ayurvedic perspective and examines its possible implications for child development..........

| Swarm Knowledge Exchange: An Edge-Assisted Semantic Communication Framework for Resource-Constrained Multi-Robot Systems | ||||||
Swarm robotics evolved from the study of social insect behaviour, and modern research has shifted its focus toward exchanging structured knowledge instead of raw sensor data. This paper proposes a swarm robotics framework that enables robots to exchange structured knowledge rather than raw sensor data, improving communication efficiency and collective decision-making. Swarm robots must work together to complete complex tasks; however, sharing raw sensor data between robots increases communication overhead. A knowledge-based approach instead allows robots to exchange only meaningful information, communicating more efficiently. A Swarm Knowledge Exchange (SKE) framework that uses AI.........

Neural network surrogates can replace repeated finite element runs in the design of steel roof trusses, but the choice of neuron model is rarely tested under controlled conditions. This study compares an additive Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) with a Multiplicative Neuron Model (MNM) at matched capacity (211 and 196 free parameters). Both were trained on a parametric STAAD.Pro database of 46,140 Fink, Howe, Pratt and Warren trusses designed to IS 800:2007, with failing designs retained.
