Damage Analysis of Structural Flexible Pavement in Towua Road Link in Palu City |
Based on the results of the preliminary survey conducted along Towua roads there are some and
the stock as exfoliation layers the surface of , the release of grains , split open and crack. So as to cause a lack of
security and comfort for road users. The purpose of the study to identify a kind of , the level of , and the
percentage of road damage priority value on roads towua and the factors causing the damage occurs and apply
the method or the treatment of defects that occurred on Towua roads.
The methods used in analyze the research by using the Bina Marga methods and testing in the laboratory to
examine 3 bricket sample taken at 3 location points, in their respective STA : KM 00 + 300, STA : KM 00 +
500, and STA : KM 00 + 800. Based on the result of damage analysis on Towua Road, the percentage of total
damage was 42,349% or 7020,617 M² from the total area of Towua Road with priority value...........

Design of Closed Loop Lcl-T Resonant Dc-To-Dc Converter Using Different Controllers |
The aim of this study is to simulate the closed loop controlled DC-DC converter for stand-alone
wind energy system for different controllers. Wind turbines, are not always very efficient in the wind speeds that
are most common to a region. Typically, wind energy systems are designed to be highly efficient in high wind
speed and have a cut-off wind speed- below which no energy is captured. Therefore, for the efficient capture of
wind power, turbine speed should be controlled to follow the ideal TSR, with an optimal operating point, which
is different for every wind speed. The LCL-T resonant inverter system for closed loop DC-to-DC converter
systems are simulated using MATLAB Simulink power system blocks for different controllers. This converter has
advantages like reduced transformer size, reduced filter size and current source characteristics. The simulation
studies indicate that LCL-T type for closed loop DC-DC converter can be used with stand-alone wind generator.
Constant voltage can be maintained at the output of DC-to-DC converter by using a PWM rectifier at the
output.

Microstructure and Static Microhardness of as cast Al-Si-Fe-B alloy by the addition of Ni |
This investigation sheds a light on the effect of Ni addition to the conventional cast Al-Si-Fe-B
alloy. The mentioned alloy was prepared with a nominal composition Al- 20 wt% Si- 9 wt% Fe- 1.2 wt% B by
means of normal casting process once. Through the same process Al-20 wt% Si- 9 wt% Fe- 1.2 wt% B- 6 wt%
Ni was also prepared in order to study the influence of Ni addition on the morphology and mechanical
properties of as-cast Al-Si-Fe-B alloy. The microstructure of tested samples was synthesised using optical
microscopy (OM), and the mechanical properties were analysed by Vickers microhardness test technique. It is
observed that the resulted phase constitutions of Al-Si-Fe-B alloy are primary Si, δ-Al₄ (Fe,B)Si₂ intermetallic
compounds and α-Al matrix, while the four phases structure of Al-Si-Fe-B-Ni alloy is composed of β-
Al₅ (Fe,Ni,B)Si, δ-Al₄ (Fe,Ni,B)Si₂ , primary Si and α-Al. The higher value of measured hardness for Al-Si-Fe-
B alloy is 179 Hv, which is significantly larger than that of Al-Si-Fe-B-Ni alloy (161Hv).
