| Zero Energy Production Center: Integration of Photovoltaic Systems and Energy-Efficient Technologies | ||||||
To meet the requirements of net-zero energy production while cutting costs at the same time, this paper studies the feasibility of converting an existing small food production facility into a zero-energy production center by incorporating photovoltaic solar panels, solar water-heating panels, energy-efficient machines, and renewable-energy management practices. The targeted facility is a processing plant for three fast-food restaurants, with an approximate electric power consumption of 10 kW. It is equipped with solar water-heating panels, and a photovoltaic system has already been installed to increase the amount of renewable electricity generated on site. | Cost, Time, Risk and Traffic Based City Transportation Shortest Path Problem | ||||||
Urban transportation systems face challenges of congestion, pollution, and inefficiency due to rapid urbanization and inadequate infrastructure. This paper develops a multi-objective shortest path transportation model for Surat City, incorporating cost, time, risk, and traffic parameters. Using fuzzy programming techniques, the study identifies optimal routes for different transport modes (bus, auto-rickshaw, and bike). Results demonstrate that fuzzy programming provides more efficient solutions compared to traditional goal programming, offering practical insights for sustainable urban transport planning.

| Landslide Remediation in Save Skarica Street, Sarajevo – A Case Study | ||||||
The Save Skarića landslide is located in an urban area of Sarajevo, on the northern slopes of Mount Trebević. During a period of heavy rainfall, slope movement occurred and caused damage to several residential buildings. This paper presents the scope of engineering-geological and geotechnical investigations, the remediation design, and the monitoring plan. Activation of the landslide was manifested by cracks in residential buildings, retaining walls, and the access road. Engineering-geological and geotechnical investigations established that sliding occurs predominantly within the clayey eluvial-deluvial cover above a more competent Miocene geological substratum.........

The growing demand for energy and the inevitable future depletion of conventional (fossil) sources necessitate research into alternative sources, such as renewable energy. It is necessary to harness energy potential for electricity generation and pumping. It is against this backdrop that we have carried out a comparative study between the solar-powered pumping system that operates as the sun moves across the sky and the conventional pumping system using a generator and EDM-SA.
