Machine Learning Approach for Fraud Detection System in Financial Institution: A Web Base Application
The rapid evolution of technology in the modern banking sector has brought about numerous benefits, including seamless transactions and enhanced customer experiences. However, this progress has also led to the emergence of sophisticated forms of financial fraud, jeopardising both financial institutions and customers alike. A credit card or account number is issued by a bank or financial service company that allows account or card holders to pay (do transactions) for goods and services. Nowadays as everything is made cyber so there is a chance of misuse of cards or accounts which make owners lose their money so it is vital that credit card companies or banks are able to identify fraudulent credit card transactions or accounts used for fraud activities so that customers are not charged for items that they did not purchase (scammed)...........

Modelling and Mapping Of Erosion Vulnerability Zones in the Coastal Areas of Rivers State, Nigeria Using GIS and Remote Sensing Techniques
Imo State University, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria Abstract- This study presents a comprehensive assessment of coastal erosion vulnerability zones in Rivers State Nigeria, utilizing geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing techniques. Three distinct vulnerability zones—high, moderate, and low—are identified across the study area, covering various extents of land. Notably, Bonny emerges as the most vulnerable zone, with significant implications due to its role as a crucial oil and gas hub. Other areas, such as Degema, Okrika, Andoni, and Asari-Toru, also exhibit notable vulnerability, highlighting the importance of implementing effective erosion control and mitigation strategies. The study underscores the economic and environmental repercussions of coastal erosion, emphasizing the need for targeted conservation efforts to safeguard both natural ecosystems and culturally significant sites. Understanding these vulnerability zones is vital for informing decision-making processes aimed at preserving coastal regions and mitigating the adverse impacts of erosion on local communities and infrastructure.

Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator for Wind Power Systems
This work presents the control of 315kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) wind power system, which has a full scale Voltage Source Converter (VSC) for the generator side control. Mathematical models of the VSC and PMSG were developed in the dq synchronous reference frame, in order to implement stator field oriented control (FOC). Matlab/Simulink was used to model the wind power system and tune the proportional and integral (PI) controllers. The simulation results show that the PI controllers of current and speed loops produce very good performance.

Design and Fabrication of a Portable Solar Powered Water Purification System
Access to clean and safe drinking water is vital for human well-being, yet a significant portion of the global population lacks access to clean water sources. Traditional water purification methods often require large-scale infrastructure and also consume fossil fuels, thereby contributing to environmental degradation and exacerbation of resource scarcity. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a portable solar-powered water purification system that harnesses renewable energy to provide sustainable and reliable access to clean drinking water. The innovative system integrates solar energy capture, advanced filtration techniques, and effective disinfection mechanisms. After the fabrication of the frame with a mild steel, the design revealed that the power required to drive the pump is 5.42kWatts.......

Stabilization of Diclofenac Sodium
Chemical entities known as drugs should pass the physicochemical properties to satisfy the category of drug. It should be stable and should exhibit its activities devoid of undue adverse effects. It was observed that very common drug diclofenac sodium degrades in aqueous media at a drastic rate. In the present study, we evaluated the ways to shield the diclofenac sodium which can delay the degradation or release and thereby increasing its efficacy. In the present work diclofenac sodium microspheres were prepared using various polymers like gelatin, ethyl cellulose by using solvent evaporation and ionic gelation methods. The prepared formulations were subjected to various evaluation tests like drug content evaluation, invitro drug release studies, characterization of microspheres using microscopic methods..........

A study of micro-silica as a substitution of cement for sustainable concrete
Microsilica, also referred to as silica fume, is a by-product of silicon metal or ferrosilicon alloy industrial production. It is a highly reactive, structureless type of silica made up primarily of very small particles. Cement is one of the most important and most used engineering materials, but its production is costly and emits CO2 and other harmful gases. It can be substituted by many unwanted substances like micro-silica, rice husk, fly ash, etc. As the use of concrete for high-rise construction grows, the demand for concrete with higher compressive strength rises. Researchers are relentlessly working towards enhancing the concrete's performance by using waste materials such as micro-silica, which is pretty unfamiliar in Bangladesh........

The objective of this study is to design a plug flow reactor and distillation column for the production of 95% purity aniline from the hydrogenation of nitrobenzene. The hydrogenation of nitrobenzene took place in a plug flow reactor via the heating and mixing of nitrobenzene with hydrogen at 3000C for aniline production and the produced aniline was purified via a distillation column. Aspen Hysys software and MatLab simulation tool were applied in carrying out this research study, and the simulation converged effectively yielding 251.47kmol of aniline at 95% purity, reflux ratio of 1.816, boil up ratio of 28.98 with a condenser duty of 3.02 x kJ/hr. The design parameters such as column internal configurations, column tray, weir geometry, downcomer geometry
and plug flow reactor were simulated using MatLab simulation tool and Aspen Hysys software........

Deciphering Market Trends: Leveraging Machine Learning and Twitter Analysis for Stock Price Prediction
This paper explores the relationship between public sentiment and market dynamics by employing sentiment analysis and AI methodologies. Utilizing Twitter data, we gauge public mood and integrate it with historical DJIA values to forecast market trends. Validation of our approach reveals a 75% accuracy using Self-Organizing Fuzzy Neural Networks (SOFNN) on Twitter feeds and DJIA data from June 2009 to December 2009. Additionally, we implement a simplistic portfolio management strategy based on our predicted trends. Our study builds upon the work of Bollen et al., achieving comparable accuracy in forecasting stock market movements.
