Impacts of rice starch, cassava starch, and molasses binders on the combustion yield and durability of eucalyptus charcoal fines briquettes
In this study, the impact of using different proportions of rice starch, cassava starch, and molasses as binders with eucalyptus charcoal fines briquettes was compared. The proportions considered were 5%, 7.5%, and 10% for rice and cassava starch, whereas for molasses, 5%, 10%, and 15% were used due to its high concentration and moisture content. Cooking tests of 3 liters of water with 15 MJ of usable calorific value (PCI) for each sample were first conducted. Subsequently, durability or impact resistance tests for each sample were carried out. At the conclusion of the testing series, it was observed that overall, the type of binder influences the combustion yield, which was 22.36%, 26.81%, and 27.30% for briquettes made with molasses, rice starch, and cassava starch, respectively.............

This study aims to analyze the causes of defects in tubular heater products at PT Usaha Saudara Mandiri using quantitative data from total production and defects from January to December 2022. The sampling technique involved observation and interviews. The DMAIC method uses tools such as Control Charts, Pareto Chart, and Fishbone Diagram to improve product quality, identify the root causes of defects, and optimize the production process. The analysis results showed a total of 1,297 defective products out of 11,213 produced, with the most dominant defects occurring in February up to December 2022. Incorrect Marking ID was the main type of defect, accounting for 47%, followed by Heater Short Body...........

Evaluating the Groundwater Quality of the Ogale Community for Irrigation Purposes in Rivers State
The Ogale Community in Rivers state was the site of nine boreholes that were used to gather groundwater samples. The main objective was to find out whether the groundwater could be used for farming. The area in question was investigated for 10 physicochemical parameters using atomic absorption spectroscopy and other standard laboratory techniques. These readings were applied mainly to ascertain the usefulness of the water for irrigation. The results were then assessed using criteria established by the International Water Quality Guidelines framework (IWOS) and 2011 World Health Organization standards (WHO). The findings revealed pH level of 4.80 to 5.56 mg/l and an electrical conductivity ranging from 60.40 to 238 μscm-1. Total dissolved solids (TDS) levels ranged from 30.20 to 119 mg/l throughout the study zone, while salinity levels ranged from 0.058 to 25.72 mg/l. The location revealed a diverse array of values.............

Influences of Input Parameters on the Energy Performance of the CAES-CPVTA System
The use of compressed air, one of the alternatives to batteries as an innovative renewable energy (RE) storage solution, is characterized by remarkable stored energy density (kWh.m-³) and high reliability (days of operation) with no environmental impact. When the sun is shining brightly, the energy produced by the thermal air photovoltaic field is used to power the CAES (Compressed Air Energy Storage). The compressed air stored in the CAES tanks is used to drive a Compressed Air Motor (MAC) during periods of low or no solar irradiation. To get the best electrical and thermal performance from the air-cooled PVT, the compressed air from the CAES helps cool the photovoltaic cells as they heat up............

Application of fuzzy logic for the determination of fabric drape
Investigation has been carried out to predict the drape parameters and describe clearly the drape phenomenon using fuzzy logic method. Forecasting features allow manufacturers to save time and improve their productivity. The bending rigidity, (in warp, weft, and skew direction), shear rigidity, and weight of fabric samples were used as the key input variables for the model, whereas drape coefficient, drape distance ratio, folds depth index, and node number were used as output/response variables. The results show that changing the values of fabric parameters significantly affected the fabric drape and a representative correlation values were found between the experimental values and those calculated by the fuzzy system.

An Empirical Study on the Exploitation of Voting Rights in India
The exploitation of voting rights in India is a complex issue that has been present for several years. Despite India being the world's largest democracy, a significant proportion of its citizens, particularly those from marginalized and vulnerable communities, are unable to exercise their right to vote freely and fairly due to a range of factors, including political corruption, caste-based discrimination, and electoral violence. The major objective of this research is to find the major reason for the exploitation of voting rights in India and how it can be prevented. It found that most of the people feel their voting right is exploited due to the fraud and it can be prevented by canceling the online voting as well as by giving voting permission when they have proper voter ID.....

Differential Privacy-Preserving Fuzzy-C-Means Cluster- ing Algorithm
Aiming to address the privacy leakage problem of the traditional Fuzzy-C-Means (FCM) clustering algorithm, the paper introduces a differential privacy mechanism into the FCM clustering algorithm. It proposes and designs a DP-FCM (Differential Privacy-FCM) clustering algorithm oriented towards differential privacy protection. The algorithm protects individual privacy information by perturbing the data. Simultaneously, to maintain high clustering performance, a balance between privacy protection and data utility is achieved by opti- mizing the selection of perturbation parameters and the allocation of privacy budget........ Preliminary Analysis of a Lazy Wave Riser Performance: Hydrostatic, Hydrodynamic, Modal, and Corrosion Assessments
This paper presents an in-depth analysis of lazy wave risers, focusing on hydrostatic, hydrodynamic, modal, and corrosion behavior using a newly developed MATLAB-based tool, RiSat. The study addresses key challenges faced in offshore riser systems, particularly in high-pressure and high-flow environments, where riser design must account for complex load conditions. Through simulation, the hydrostatic forces, dynamic motion responses, and modal characteristics of the riser were calculated. In addition, corrosion analysis based on velocity and pressure variations was conducted, revealing exponential trends in corrosion rates. A detailed discussion of the results is provided, with comparisons to industry-standard tools such as OrcaFlex. The findings highlight critical insights into riser tension distribution, vibration frequencies, and failure modes, offering essential guidance for riser design in subsea environments.

Recently, the AI industry has attracted a lot of attention and has good development potential, so we analyze the investment strategy of the A industry sector based on the principal component analysis method. The team's large-market timing mainly analyzes the fundamentals of the stock, and then values the stock according to indicators such as price-earnings ratio and price-to-book ratio to determine the safety of the current market capitalization. Then, select small caps from current hot spots, use active management strategies to select stocks in the AI industry, and use principal component analysis to formulate the optimal risk stock selection portfolio.
