How does Technology Orientation impact Competitive Advantage during Technology Turbulence? The mediating role of Innovation
This study looked at innovation and technology orientation which provide IT-based businesses a competitive edge in the context of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), which are particularly susceptible to high levels of technological turbulence. The research process consisted of three steps: 1) a literature review; 2) an empirical investigation utilizing questionnaires to collect data; and 3) a structural equation modeling (SEM) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) analysis and interpretation of the results. The results shown that competitive advantage is directly increased by technology orientation, and that even in the face of significant technological instability, competitive advantage keeps growing when innovation is incorporated into the model as a mediator...........

Compressive Behavior of Coir Fiber Reinforced Concrete in Elevated Thermal Condition
Concrete, the second most used material in the world after water, plays a critical role in modern construction due to its durability, strength, and sustainability. However, fire outbreaks in buildings have emerged as a significant concern, as the integrity of concrete is often compromised under high temperatures, leading to a considerable reduction in its strength. Various strategies have been explored to address this issue and enhance the fire resistance of concrete. This study investigates the compressive strength behavior of regular concrete (0% coconut fiber) and coconut fiber-reinforced concrete with varying fiber contents (0.25%, 0.5%, and 1% by weight of cement) under conditions simulating exposure to fire........

Solving Multi-Objective Transportation Problem by using the Revised Simplex Method
The Multi-Objective Transportation Problem (MOTP) is a challenging optimization issue that encompasses various conflicting objectives. This research investigates the process of converting MOTP into a single-objective problem by employing the Weight Sum Method. Three separate conditions were analyzed to achieve the transformation from a multi-objective to a single-objective framework. The Revised Simplex Method was then applied to solve the problem under each of these conditions. The results of the study confirm the effectiveness of the Weight Sum Method in reconfiguring multi-objective problems into a solvable single- objective format and emphasize the role of the Revised Simplex Method in yielding optimal solutions for complex transportation challenges.

Simulation of natural gas flow through a conventional gate valve
The presence of valves that allow the gas flow to be interrupted in a natural gas distribution network is a common and necessary operational practice. Emergency situations and/or scheduled maintenance are common and the flow can only be blocked using these devices. However, when the flow is reestablished, there will be a very high variation in local velocity because of the existing area restriction and of the network's operating pressure. The main objective of this work is to present the mathematical formulation corresponding to the flow through gate valves. It is also worth mentioning the presentation of some numerical examples considering real operational data.

An Impact of Leverage on the Profitability &Risk of the Pharmaceutical Sector
The present study seeks to examine the impact of corporate leverage on profitability and risk of pharmaceutical industry in India. The period of study is considered for 5 years i.e. from 2020-21 to 2022-23.The study is based on Secondary Data, 5 pharmaceutical firms listed in National Stock Exchange (NSE )are considered for analysis during the study period. Three independent variables Financial Leverage (FL), Operating Leverage (OL), and Combined Leverage (CL) and three dependent variables Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) and Earning Per Share( EPS) have been used and tested by using correlation analysis and t-test as statistical tools. The findings of the study indicate that there is a significant impact of CL and OL on Profitability (ROA, ROE and EPS) have significant impact on the CL on Profitability is chosen by pharmaceutical Industry in India for the study period.

Finite Element and Experimental Study of Brick Masonry Bonds Under Low-Velocity Impact Load: A Simplified Micro-Modelling Approach
This study employs finite element simulations in Abaqus software to analyse the impact response of different brick masonry walls. This work proposes a simplified micro-model approach that combines the extended finite element with constitutive models based on plasticity. It is demonstrated that using this method to simulate the three-dimensional non-linear behavior of masonry under low velocity impact loads is effective. Considering variations in bricks placement specially choosing right type of brick bonds. The research investigates the structural behaviour under dynamic loading conditions, here, low velocity Impact load. Through comprehensive analyses of point displacement, stress......
