Zero field splitting parameter and energy levels of Mn2+ in LiAl5O8 single crystals |
The Mn2+ doped LiAl5O8 single crystals' crystal field parameters and zero-field splitting parameter are theoretically determined utilizing the perturbation theory and the superposition model. The experimental value and the theoretical zero-field splitting parameter D are in good agreement. This establishes the experimental outcome that Mn2+ ions substitute at Li+ site in LiAl5O8 single crystal. The optical spectra of Mn2+ doped LiAl5O8 crystal are computed using the crystal field parameters and the crystal field analysis computer program. The computed and empirical energy values match reasonably well. Hence the theoretical study backs the experimental one.

Real Estate Price Prediction in Abuja, Nigeria Using Linear Regression |
This paper examines the application of linear regression to predict real estate prices in Abuja, Nigeria. By leveraging a dataset of 10 randomly selected properties, each with features such as size, number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, year built, location, and proximity to amenities, a linear regression model was trained and evaluated. The goal of this study is to assess the predictive power of linear regression in determining property prices and explore its limitations in a dynamic real estate market like Abuja. The results show that the model explains approximately 72% of the variance in property prices, indicating reasonable accuracy for most property types, though it struggles with high-end properties due to non-linear market factors. The study concludes with suggestions for future improvements using more sophisticated models and expanded datasets.

Design of an Optimized Pi Controller Converter for Integrating Renewable Sources to Grid System |
A great technical concern of synchronization is presently raised by the recent integration of converter interfaced generators into the convention grid. While there are various control techniques, a Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) is required in synchronizing power inverters output signal and that of the grid. In this research work, the optimal tuning of PLL structure PI- parameters is carried out using metaheuristic algorithm as against manual tuning technique. Dandelion optimization (DO) Algorithm was applied in the PI-PLL tuning under the ITAE and IAE error criteria. The performance of Dandelion Optimizer was compared to that of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) for comparison and the result obtained showed that Dandelion Optimizer evaluated with the Integral Time Absolute Error (ITAE) obtained PI parameters that achieved a faster settling of 5.72ms as compared to PSO with a settling time of 7.74ms.

Environmental Health Risk Assessment: A Framework for Protecting Public Health |
Environmental Health Risk Assessment (EHRA) is a vital tool for evaluating and managing health risks from environmental hazards, such as chemical, biological, and physical agents. It follows a structured process involving hazard identification, dose-response assessment, exposure assessment, and risk characterization. These steps help estimate the likelihood and severity of adverse health effects from environmental exposures. EHRA is increasingly important due to rising industrial activities, urbanization, and agricultural practices, which contribute to pollution in air, water, soil, and food. The assessment also considers vulnerable populations, including children, the elderly, and those with pre-existing health conditions, who may be more susceptible to environmental risks........

A volume pliable sustainable inventory management for deteriorating products with random machine disruption and stochastic restoration time |
For deteriorating items with random machine disruption and stochastic restoration time, a sustainable inventory model is developed here. The key conferments in this framework are as follows: the deterministic rate of demand is assumed to be a selling price mathematical function. The selling price is the buyer's biggest benchmark as he/she goes to the market to purchase a specific product. The production rate is finite and regulated by new technologies, investment in capital, and the number of laborers. Demand is altered also by the amount of liability of the inventory and this pliability is accomplished by deciding the optimum ceas- ing period of production, the number of laborers, and unit selling price of the product......

ESP 8266-based Car Battery Current and Voltage Monitoring Design |
Fluctuations in engine speed make motorists unaware of the actual battery voltage and current, as the permissible battery voltage should be above 85% of the maximum voltage. Generally, the battery voltage for gasoline engines is about 12.5 volts in order to function normally. Therefore, regular battery checks and optimal battery recharging are required. This study aims to calculate how much the current and voltage changes at each load when the engine rotation is 1000, 1500, 2500, 3000, 3500, 4000 RPM using the ESP8266 microcontroller and compare it with measurements using a multimeter......

The Prison is the most established corrective organization in the world. With the modern penal systems across the globe embracing the Reformative Theory of punishment, the idea that a criminal is a product of the social, economic and environmental conditions is increasingly gaining acceptance. This privilege can be followed to fall under the ambit of Article 21 of the Constitution. The rights of prisoners are a complex and crucial facet of any justice system. At the heart of prisoners' rights lies the recognition that every human being possesses inherent worth and dignity, regardless of their actions......
